- Manage the development lifecycle of our Web applications.
- Lead and inspire your team, ensuring everyone is motivated and that their needs, including training are properly identified.
- Oversee day to day activities of both internal and offshore software resources.
- Define quarterly KPIs and personal development goals for your team.
- Manage the day-to-day workload of the team, ensuring that work is allocated, prioritised and completed within agreed timeframes.
- Actively drive improvements and efficiencies within the team, ensuring best practices are adhered to and being a technical contributor to help your team as needed.

- Prior experience with Web and/or Mobile Application development.
- Extensive experience working in an agile environment.

- Previous management experience.
- Engineering expertise in Software development (Backend and Frontend).
- Previous experience as a software engineer developing with Python, NodeJS, SQL & ReactJS.
- Previous experience of modern Architecture, Frameworks & Design Patterns.

In this exciting remote role as a Development Manager, you will be leading a team of Developers and Testers. You will work in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, Business Analyst, Product Manager & wider business colleagues to deliver a state-of-the-art online pension platform.
The position is home based with occasional travel for team meetings and social gatherings. Full support for working from home will be provided including provision of equipment and an allowance for the working environment.
